Replacement ampeg 810 wheels

Recommended Posts

@MWH thanks dude. I don't mind them being non original, I'm more interested in ones that are sturdy and rugged. If you have a couple of 3" wheels that would be grand.

@ikay That site looks spot on, but this needs to be fixed in 2 weeks in time for my bands tour around Spain. Otherwise I may have ordered them.

So  we know they're 3", but please measure from the bottom of the cab to the floor as the castored  bit could be different to  the original,  best to send you four the same, and , the fixing  dims might be different,  are they a threaded bolt into a captive nut or just woods crews ?

Okay, if you can find a set of caster wheels that are 3" diameter, and 1 1/2" across (the distance between the mounting points), then that would be grand.

Or for the full unit, it's

100mm overall height

45mm x 75mm fixing hole centres.

I can't find any anywhere.

I just drilled new holes when I replaced mine, not worth the hassle of searching really

Funnily enough, I ended up finding what I hope to be a direct replacement for the old one, as mine uses threaded captivated nuts which are stronger than screwing in a wood screw. I started looking for a replacement wheel but I found one with the right dimensions on ebay. With luck they'll be here ASAP, and I can see if they work.

This is them in case anyone is after some as well.
