DanOwens Posted May 3, 2018 Share Posted May 3, 2018 Hi guys I'm using one of those cheap BassMax copies off eBay and using an LS2 as a preamp as it does a fair job of sorting out the impedance but I'd like some tone shaping too. petebassist Posted May 3, 2018 Share Posted May 3, 2018 I use the K&K Pure Preamp, which is very handy and simple to use - I don't like complicated kit. It’s nothing fancy, but it does at least give enough tone control to deal with feedback, and you should be able to pick one up second hand for £60. Good luck!
