la bam Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 Hi all, Just wondered if anyaone has ever used or regularly uses a 610? Im currently using a super compact, so just wondered what differences there would be? Would it be massively louder? Tighter? Bigger sound etc? We put everything through the pa but are starting to do bigger gigs etc and a bit more would be nice. In particular im looking at a markbass sealed 610 classic. Any help appreciated. Most of the time I take one cab for rehearsals/pub gigs but for the bigger gigs/wanting to show off I take two. Plus much easier to transport/carry than a 610. Lozz196 Posted April 25, 2018 Share Posted April 25, 2018 I saw a bassist using a CL610 about a month back. Had a good sound, and was super portable, lighter than my Ashdown ABM410. Everything was through FOH, but I could hear his sound pretty good on sound-check and the sound from the rig wasn`t radically different to that of FOH, so maybe this cab doesn`t have the high-end roll-off that some Markbass cabs seem to have.
