Looking at that connection it appears to be just a right angled jack to a straight jack with a T off to another socket. You could just knock up another cable from the spares box in a couple of minutes. As long as the form fitting plug at the backbeat end doesn't stop you doing that (and I am sure one of those really thin right angled plugs would be fine). Since then I've decided I don't want to buy the unit but I keep getting email "Invoices" for the remaining payment. I'm not bothered about the $10 but don't really want to incur any further expense. Does anyone know if the initial downpayment amounts to a contractual obligation and I'll end up having to pay the full amount or can I just ignore the payment requests now? Does the bass and the IEM signal go into the Backbeat (separate inputs?) and then an output to headphones and one to the amp or PA? I should just look at their website! Just so I understand, for live using IEMs you're not actually using the Backbeat's headphone out, it's the 'vibration' from the unit that makes the difference not the actual audio? The backbeat is a vibrating thing on your back, so you feel the signal. It also has a headphone output if that is what you want so that you could hear the bass.
