eubassix Posted April 14, 2018 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Just been handed this BLACK F' p/guard but no idea what it's off / from / for? ... any ideas / suggestions. It's patently wrong for any std. MIA, MiM, MIJ jazz, but wondered if it might have been created for a specific (modern / MIC / 24F? ) J-type instument. ?? eubassix Posted April 14, 2018 Author Share Posted April 14, 2018 Thanks Andy - could be, although shape looks slightly different (notably the long, thin section by the final-frets/E-side (?). There's no 'U' truss-rod cut also. Is the bass in the photo yours? if. so, the distance between the top edge of the neck-pickup-cut & neck-cut would be useful.
