This is something I picked up this week from Thomann. IF there's no interest here I might return it. All I'm looking for is to get my money back an give someone else the opportunity to own this.

It's a Harley Benton HBZ-2005FL NT Deluxe Series. It's a Deko bass, but the only "problem" is the D stamp!   The weight: 9.25Lb ; 4.2Kg

Brand new in the box and with tags. Here are pictures of the actual bass.  The wood looks stunning and it feels good. I simply cannot justify keeping yet another bass. Should never have jumped on this bargain.

It comes with D'Addario XL roundwound strings.

Measuring it with a steel rule a torch and my new reading glasses... 16.5mm between centres.

Too tight for my agricultural finger style, but that looks like a shedload of bass for the money.

If I hadn't recently got a 5 string fretless, I would certainly have been tempted by this! And 16.5mm would be ideal for me. As folk have already mentioned this is a LOT of bass for the money.

Btw - Grangur really does really look after his basses (and is a generally top guy!) so I'm really happy to recommend him!

Guitar player in band has HB telecaster (custom? one HB).  Stonking guitar, not sure I can see why my USA tele is that much better.  Guitar / bass world in terms of price and performance is somewhat random these days.  Sadly I have just bought another bass £90 so will have to pass by this excellent machine.
