Good Evening All,

I have recently been using my phone as an MP3 player plugged into the aux in socket and practising with my over ear headphones so i don't disturb the wife's TV viewing.

Any i may have plugged and unplugged the phone when the amp is still switched on..?Could this damage the speaker .

The speaker is now making funny farting type noises especially when plucking lower notes to the point where it is basically unplayable ,so i fear that i have knackered something on the Amp.

??Can anybody suggest what i may have done. Amp is only  just over six months old and purchased by myself brand new from G4M.

PS..If this post is on the wrong thread feel free to move it.

I would be very surprised if you can't unplug something without damaging the amp, irrespective of the power being on.  Do the instructions warn against such an action?  Sounds like a warranty claim to me.  Contact G4M (and good luck with that......... :dash1: was my last experience with them)

Well this has got me stumped which doesn't take a lot with anything electrical so it's gone back to G4M for a warranty repair,Wouldn't expect a speaker blowing after only 6 months of use and it's never been had the volume knob over half way since i've had it.
