Baritone Saxophone - SOLD £425

For sale is a Broadway (stencil) saxphone. "Stencil"  is a phrase which means it was made by a manufacturer then sent to a shop/seller to engrave their own logo, a bit like the Masumoko set up in the 70s.

I recently took up playing sax again after a 12 year lay off, bought a soprano sax then bought this from a family estate sale. This had been owned/played by the father who had died. Family were clearing out his collection of instruments including this and an alto sax.

I didn't appreciate how much more difficult playing a baritone would be as compared to a soprano...think ukulele to DB.

All the parts are here, sax, mouthpiece, reeds, ligature, strap and case. 

TBH I'm not going to get on with this, I'm not going to be able to commit the time required.

Like any instrument that's been sitting for a while it could probably do with being serviced. I had a quote for £60 from a local repairer.

I'm hoping that somebody who plays with a horn section may know somebody who might be interested. Ideally looking for £425 but I am open to trades or offers. Trials welcome.

Oddly, last night I dreamt I was trying to play a trumpet. In my dream I was terrible at it, just like real life I expect.
