Balrog68 Posted February 13, 2018 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Hey all! Thanks for having me! I've been playing guitar on and off since I was 5. Turned 50 two weeks ago and bought a dirt cheap,VERY Purple, precision copy and amp for £50 off gumtree on my birthday. Stripped it down,dressed some dodgy frets,set the action,filed the nut and my £50 beast now plays really nicely for a very budget guitar. I play for fun and would consider myself as intermediate as a 6 string guitarist but a beginner with 4 strings.I'm trying hard not to play it as a 6 string. So I'm looking for advice with technique and practise exercises. I also dabble with building,( tenor guitars, mandolins, ukes and basic effects pedals.) I've got an octave up pedal on the go at the moment. Enough about me..I'm going to have a lurk around your forum and find out what's what!
