I'd rather use a black cab than red or yellow, the backline is there to be seen, not heard. Just like Victorian children!

I actually quite like the look of mine, with the black steel grille. A bit quirky. But then again, I play a MM Bongo Stealth so what the f**k do I know!! As you were! 😁

I like the black grill on mine too, and I play a Bongo Stealth 5 string, must be some kind of viral thing...

I would have loved a bongo, but too many dials for me, maybe thats why I needed up with a silver, I have not yet evolved, but I like the black too

I love the silver cloth- I've always loved the look of 60's Fender amps, along with others like Hiwatt and Sound City. The silver option gives me the chance to have a FRFR setup (in which I'm often modelling an old fashioned amp anyway) with the cool look of classic cabs. Is that a dichotomy? An incongruity? I'm not quite sure, but it's the best of both worlds to me.

Most of the stuff in my for-sale thread sold far quicker than I expected, so I ordered a Super Midget the other day. The first thing I saw when I popped onto BC was this thread! I know what to call that- an utter coincidence! Nice to fall on the good side of these things for a change though!

Even at todays price they may be out of some peoples reach

The Aguilar look the part but Mark bass and Vander RED! ones are too garrish for me

i like how the work and operate no middle man/free month trial etc and i think they will do well whatever price

i nearly pressed the button on a pair of Two10's in the New year but the funds i thought would be there weren't and i chose cheaper options

the only negative for me is the size, its a win win for weight etc but they lack a bit of presence on stage.Seen a guy with a one cab set up and it looked like his gear had been nicked

Yeah, I'd just woken up when I wrote that! Only just realised what compete nonsense I wrote, I obviously should have stayed asleep!

Make that 'heard and not seen, unlike Victorian children'!

Is it just me, or does that GIF make it look like Nick Frost's shovel bounces back and hits him in the face every time?!

They are great basses, they do very much divide opinion. I’m still in two minds whether to sell mine, I’m doing 90% rock covers at the moment and my Yamaha Attitude Ltd gets the nod most of the time. I’m also finding it hard to resist buying a Line 6 Helix and the Bongo could fund that. On the other hand I don’t actually need to sell it and and they are so hard to come by if I decided I wanted another! Decisions decisions!

Approx 10% increase.Thats a big hike in one go but I dont know how long since the last one...

Still puts a Super Midget at around £100 cheaper than an Aguilar SL112 in the UK.

I say good on barefaced - they gave everyone a real fair crack at getting them at the cheaper prices.  A lot of others just out prices up out of the blue.

Ten percent is hardly a huge increase. Let's hope they can maintain them. It's a tough market out there, but the US competition seem to be really expensive now.

A friend has an Aguilar SL112 (which goes for over £700) and it's only rated at 250W. It can just about keep up with a drumkit. My G1 Compact is significantly louder. The Super Compact, even with the recent price rise,  sounds like a lot more more bang for your buck than the Aguilar if you want a 1x12.

Thankfully i got my bb2 order in before the end of feb so getting the old price. Now i just need to convince myself to get rid of my boogie powerhouse 1x15 i’d be fully lightweight gigwise.

Anyway, the value of all existing Barefaced cabs just went up on the pre-owned market, so everyone's a winner.

Not really... my two cabs are not going anywhere, their value is locked. Now, if this had happened just before I sold my pair of BB2... ;)

Reluctantly putting up for sale my Barefaced Six10. Looking at buying a house this coming year and need the money (also will need the space)
I'm sure everyone knows what these are all about and the wording on the Barefaced website is better than anything i could write: https://barefacedaudio.com/products/six_10?variant=13875021119546

I've had this since the start of the year (arrived 30.01.19) and to be honest haven't used it as much as i wanted to. (band hasn't been giggin enough!)
It sounds amazing and come with barefaced protective cover.
Could be tempted with a swap for a barefaced two10 with some money my way!
Collection only as i don't fancy putting this through the post

Will put more details pictures up if needed!

Cost £1359 new with cover so i think £900 is a fair price for one in this condition.

I am selling my Bergantino AE210 bass cab. It is absolutely amazing and I would really rather not sell it. I am not gigging at the moment so it is just gathering dust.
      Blurb.
Revised for 2011 the new vertically oriented AE210 now has a smoother mid-range response that before, and has a surprisingly big sound which is in part due to the large rear porting. Like all Bergantino cabinets, the sound is well balanced and clear across the frequency range. The highs are clear and transparent but never course, the mids are present and punchy but not overpowering, and the the lows are full but not boomy. A punchy yet warm cab with surprising output.
      Model AE210 specifications:
•2 x 10" Custom Neodymium Driver with 7oz magnet and vented pole pieces
      •high intelligibility 1" tweeter
•custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control
      •power handling - 400 watts rms
      •frequency response:40Hz - 15kHz
      •sensitivity: 100db • 1 watt/1 meter
      •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors
      •impedance: 8 ohms
      •dimensions: 22 3/4" W x 18" H x 12 1/2" D
      •55.9cm x 45.7cm x 31.75cm
      •weight: 40lbs/18 Kgs
      •Padded/fitted cover £60
      •Delivery to Mainland UK - £10
•Delivery to Mainland EU from £30
•Please call or email the shop to buy this cabinet
•This cab works well with high power amplifiers from 400 - 800w at 8Ω

I am in Exeter, Devon. Any tryout is welcome.
Price is £450 collected or I can post at cost. It comes with the genuine Bergantino cover.

      Ampeg SVT-112 AV
£225      (Best new price seems to be about £450)
Generally good condition, a few marks on the covering and corners that I have tried to show.   Nothing serious and a good solid cab. Only used in the last 2/3 years as a back up.
Very manageable weight wise, with the one handle, can be used landscape or portrait.
3 way switch for the Tweeter.
      I'm based Stockport (south Manchester)
Details from the Ampeg website below:
The Ampeg SVT-112AV bass enclosure delivers pure Ampeg tone in a ported cabinet design that bridges the gap between the fast transient response you want and the rich low end you deserve.
The SVT-112AV features a 12″ custom Eminence® LF driver and a 1″ compression driver with 3-way level control in a rugged cab with vintage Ampeg styling.
Rated to handle 300W RMS at 8ohms, the SVT-112AV is a great match with the V-4B, PF-350, Micro-VR or for integrating with other Ampeg cabs in your rig.

      RMS Power Handling: 300 Watts
      Frequency Response (-3dB): 70 Hz-18 kHz
Usable Low Frequency (-10 dB): 35 Hz
      Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohms
      Sensitivity: 96 dB
      Maximum SPL: 121 dB
      Dimensions (W x H x D inches): 24 x 17 x 16
      Weight: 45 Pounds
