This thread was always part 2 of Pete's (Pete Academy) original. A little tribute of his passing today.. He told me this was always one of his favourites to play live.

Thanks Mick. He showed me music that I hadn't heard before, and his passion for funk and groove, so I pass it on.He would even call me and play me a track he had heard that was cool over the phone.  You got to respect where you get your influences from. Especially from such a lovely man.

Im going to/or Ped is going to post his original Funk and Groove thread from 2009. But I think Ped needs a bit of time to embed the original content properly. Lets see. There are some absolute cracking Funk and Groove on it..

Something a bit more upto date for yall, check these out from Estonia, great stage craft live, and have loads of great ideas,

have to say we are doing a cover version of beef grinder its so good.
