Now for the ace up my sleeve. One of my all time fave live albums.... You wanna some bass... Oh the bass is so up front on this and I LOVE IT.........

POW.

Another great one. I’ve had this for over ten years and in fact was just listening to it again a few weeks ago. A brilliant live set.

Excellent. Never heard of this band but will be checking out more of it. Thanks for sharing.

The Bassist is Nathaniel Phillips. Worth Googling and checking out some of his work/credits. During the 70's and 80's he was quite in demand. He certainly had some chops as well.

Check out the album ‘Future Now’....😎

Yeah, terrific album. Nate Phillips plays great on it. Lovely tone as well (as always).

Some serious players on it as well.

:D

Something slightly different from Labelle that I stumbled across and enjoyed:

Those albums (Nightbirds, Chameleon, Phoenix, Pressure Cookin’ ) are great. Three of them were available as one of those classic albums collections. I bought this one separately.

Well worth getting  their Master Plan compilation which has early Kool and the Gang all over it, not surprising when the band featured the younger brother of Ronald and Kool and Ronald, with the latter doing the arrangements and production
