This is an example of how we live in a  golden age of bass.  It's virtually impossible to buy a totally rubbish bass.  This will sound and play great for really not a lot of money.  I had two of its five string cousins and they were fab. I mean really fab.  i recently had a £600 bass which wasn't as nice.

These always make their way onto the "what VFM basses.." lists. If I could have paid £170 for a bass of this quality when I started playing I may never have contracted GAS..(hahaha...who am I kidding...hahaha)
