A very reluctant sale, this.

We have here a rather stunning replica of the fabled Fender '66 Slab Precision bass. Put together expertly and aged with immense care and attention to detail by BCer Rick's Fine 52. It's a stunning piece if work, clearly a labour of love.

The maple-cap neck is from a Fender Roger Waters Precision and has been aged, amber tinted and has a rolled fingerboard.  Period correct decal. Reverse tuners.

The alder slab body was custom made to the specs of an original Slab. Nitro finish. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan Steve Harris which I originally intended to swap for something else but it sounds spot on so I left it in. I removed the signature though for aesthetics. It comes with pickup and bridge covers too.

Tonally, it's what you would expect - a very bright and growly Precision. It definitely has that extra something thanks to the maple cap neck. Raunch.

Viewings welcome!
