MWH Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Hi folks, have just aquire a 2008 Rickenbacker 660 and would like an education on changing strings. It's presently on 9 guage which are too slim Jim for me, logically I should go for tens but I enjoy 11 guage on a guild I have, BUT every string on any of my guitars, bass or otherwise are flatwounds. Would anyone have knowledge of this make of guitar when fitted with flatwound strings, is it a no-no ?, thanks, 🐾 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
