floFC Posted January 1, 2018 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Yes, big fan here. I discovered them in in '85 with The Head On The Door and worked my way back from there. My favourite album still is Seventeen Seconds. I then lost touch with the new stuff in the '00s. The original trilogy (17 Seconds, Faith, Pornography) was in all likelihood the reason I picked up the bass. The first gig I went to was The Cure in '86. Recently, I saw them at the Albert Hall in 2011 for the Reflections show, then took my son to see them at Reading in 2012 and started seeing them again every time they tour since. They're a great live band, they have such a huge back catalogue that each show is different and even though they play for 3 hours, it's never enough Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I felt they did some killer songs but there was just a bit too much that passed me by. Robert Smith really hasn't aged too well as this photo that was doing the rounds a while back suggests.
