Sorted: Bassist wanted - North East Essex

Recommended Posts

I have recently left my band and they are looking for a new bass player.

Gigs are mainly functions/pubs, with the main emphasis being on 70s music. They also occasionally do a Bowie tribute.

Links to Facebook and website are here:

They are a fantastic bunch of guys, and this really is a great, no hassle, gig.

      Hi there,
We are looking to replace our bass player. We are www.echovibe.uk, we do pop-rock-soul-funk covers. Most of the covers we play are danceable.
We take music as a hobby and, while we aim for paid gigs and functions, we can occasionally play the odd pub gig without pay - just for the fun of it. You can see some videos of live performances at www.echovibe.uk/gallery.
We are based in Central / South-East London, and tend to rehearse every other Sunday afternoon at 'Music Room London' in New Cross. We have recently gone through quite a few changes in our line-up, and we are now getting back on track.
Does this sound like something you may want to join? If so, please get in touch, ideally with some audio or video clips of you playing the bass.
      Thank you,

My covers band doesn't have any gigs booked for May (various holidays etc) so I'm available for dep work if anyone would like to keep me busy
I'm based in North Kent (Gravesend) and have good gear - Vanderkley cabs, Mesa Boogie D800 head, Xotic 5 string jazz bass or Fender Precision bass.
I gig regularly with my covers band, usual pop/rock/soul/funk covers, but have been in original bands too and can usually learn lines quickly.
My band is wanting to gig less this year so will be available for other dates throughout the year too, but definitely free the whole of May.
