Hi, i am after something like this :

http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/pro...rews?sku=369900

However they won't ship this from the American site (w@$%erz) and am struggling to find anywhere else to get one. Unfortunately i am not very practical and lack the means to make anything like this but if any one want to make one i'd be happy to pay!

Cheers, Lee

Got a friend in America?
Put out a yell for one of the US based people on the board - there's a few - I'm sure they'd sort that out for you ..

Do you have a synapse? Any good?
there's an L2 on ebay at the mo but it has a 1500 reserve on it :)

Cheers Oldgit, I've changed my title calling for some USA intervention (few sounds political almost!). To answer your Q no i haven't got a Synapse....although i'd certainly like to try one.
I've just bought a Spirit (budget Steinberger) of another B/Cer. I used to have a Hohner headless and didn't like how it sat when playing so i purchased a synapse hook from a USA shop but alas that shop has ceased trading. I've tried looking around the net with no luck other than online shops that will not trade steinberger parts with the UK (Why?).....so calling all American BCers...can you help????

Yeah I've been annoyed by the US shops refusing to sell stuff to the UK before - like when Line 6 dumped all their basses on the US at £250 a pop .. so annoying reading all these talkbass people going nuts abut it and not being able to get one ...

I had a spirit and made a pivoting wing strap thing like the L2 had.. Wish I'd just thought of the hook :)
Let me know if you are stuck and I'll see if my mate in Canada can help ...

tried these?
Unfortunately they're no good because you need a credit card with a US billing address to buy online in any case (for most stores at least).

I know, I've tried...

er..... It hooks through the guitar strap hole (too early in the morning to explain properly & heavy night lastnight!!!) - it works though!

Grant, have sent you a PM matey.
