BassBus 45 Posted December 11, 2017 This is a bit of an experiment so has lots of bits I would do differently a second time. I decided I wanted to do a piece without working too much of it out beforehand. This was largely improvised and it shows. Steve Lawson once commented that if you want to learn to improvise you have to start somewhere. The more you do it the better you get. Well this is my start. Bit like improvising on any instrument, you have to know it back to front and inside out. Same applies when using effects. I'd like to get away from just big pad chords so have to learn the extent of all the effects pedals. You can only do that by experimenting. Here's my first experiment. It's really a bit too long.
