The upgrades Fender have added to the new Pro Jazz have really taken it up a notch, this really is a fantastic instrument. It appears to have a quarter sawn neck (correct me if I'm wrong) with a fantastic smooth finish that makes darting up and down the neck a breeze. I've read reports of the new V Mod pickups having a low output, but this bass has an output equal to my active Moon!
