The Singer's name Band

The guitarist's name Band

You're certain that there'll be support for these.

Personally, if you want to pack the place (temporarily at least) try "Scantily Clad College Girls"..will look great on billboards and posters - Pub Landlords will love it..

So you're calling the band "The Prima Donnas" then.

...lots of bands with rubbish names made it.

'The Beatles' is a terrible name. Didn't matter. Thing is, once a name becomes associated with what you do, it ceases to have any meaning or purpose other than as a handle for the band.

'Frankie Goes To Hollywood'. Oh, come on!! ¬¬

I think I've met her. If not, it was Anne Widdecombe in a gorilla suit.

the name does not matter, pick a word , use it. People learn your name, if they like you.

Lots of bands with awesome names never made it, lots of bands with rubbish names made it.

The name is irrelevant

I tried explaining that to my band....  They didn't get it

I bet they think that the only reason you haven't "made it" yet is because you haven't found a catchy amusing name lol

I'm a realist,we haven't made it coz we're not that good :)

 That name always tickled me.

I'm reminded of an exchange in the House of Commons where an MP said, 'I'm a country member,' to which came the reply, 'We are not likely to forget...'

For a Who/Mod trib, possibly...

Or you could have "Saucy Jack" for a Spinal Tap tribute.
