I can get 3 Squier Jaguar for the price of a Fender Mustang, has anyone had a chance to play both? In playability and tone, is the Fender worth the extra money? Hope someone can help me out. casapete Posted November 12, 2017 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Only tried the Mustang out briefly in a shop, and was quite impressed. However, did have a Squier SS Jaguar for a while and thought it was great,especially at the price point. Sounded fine with the PJ pickups, and really light too.
