Don't understand the Victorian retro-tech/science fiction steampunk thing. As the P Bass didn't appear until half-way through the 20th century, it unnecessarily subverts the timeline of technological advancement. To me it's just a style-choice/marketing ploy/bored office worker thing. I was right the first time, it's a P-bass with crap stuck to it. By going back in time Wells would have altered the future and we'd all be playing basses with graphite necks and lightweight alloy tuners, or something. Oh, wait... SPHDS Posted November 4, 2017 Share Posted November 4, 2017 Coupled to the fact it is actually a leftie bass, flipped (hence the 'reversed' P pickup)......with a load of ironwork welded to the front in order to cover the control cavity.
