System Science - How to find the right recording interface for you

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

With my Focusrite hat thoroughly in place (for sake of transparency), I thought I'd post a series of in-depth articles that we have published relating to considerations when choosing a recording interface.
These articles are non-partisan, we're not trying to sell you anything, but full of useful information about what to look out for when considering a new interface. You may even find a cheeky photo of me hidden in there.

The article topics cover:

- Connection Methods (USB, Thunderbolt, Firewire etc)
- Drivers & Latency
- Analogue Connections
- Digital Considerations
- Sound Quality & Specs
- Physical Features

Each article is also available as an audio file, you'll find the full playlist on the homepage below, and each individual read-through on the relevant article.
Take a look here:

Enjoy :)
