Yes it is, to try keep it light weight that's why I had the body chambered and went for a swamp ash toneblock in it when getting it built. I had an Imperial 5 too which I sold recently and that weighed 10.7lbs (4.85KGs)!

Thanks very much for the answer. It can so be qualified as a light Fodera 5.

Hi Shane, how's it going? I'm interested in your bass. I have a Fodera Imperial MG 5, I'm in Dublin. Are you ever in Dublin? Would you like to see if a trade would work?

Hey man, thanks for the offer, I actually had an MGS before and found that 26 frets wasn't for me! That's a savage looking bass though! I always wondered who had that when I saw it went to ireland. 😄

stung with a high C? Tried it with Low B? Quality of a Low B string on 33"?

Thanks

Hi, it's strung with a low B since I bought it new and I've had no problems with the B on it. It could be changed to a high C fairly easily though. I know I've seen some people just change the strings and adjust the set up a bit without having to change the nut.
