Very nice Sandberg budget bass, NOT the full fat German one (what, at this price  ).

Korean parts, assembled and QCd in Germany.
Currently around £630 new.
New strings, new set up, just oil'd fingerboard. The Celtic dot markers are so I can see where I am in poor light. Just stickers, so can be removed leaving no residue.
Lightish at 8lb 8oz.

PLEK'D..... not many in this price bracket have that.
Zero fret (as above).
Active/passive on vol control, then Balance & stacked bass/treble.
Great bridge.
Easy to set up to your requirements.
I suppose these could be likened to Sandbergs version of Mex Fender?
Dunno, but it's a good bass that is being usurped by a Flea.

Collection Wigan,or meet up within 30 miles of Wigan.
Feedback linked below.
I will chuck in a horrible beat up gig bag to keep the rain off.
Sorry, no trades.
Thanks for looking,
Karl.

EDIT,! Oh, I have the black scratchplate & all the screws, but unlike most Fenders you can remove it without exposing big holes

Do the Celtic dot markers hide the original dot markers or were there no original dot markers? Just a thought
[/quote]

No dots on fretboard, just side of the neck.
Some of us mature  chaps struggle to see side dots on rosewood in certain lighting.

Those Sandberg basses are pretty impressive and at that price i'm really surprised its not gone Karl.

If you had been closer i might have considered it but a little bit bass maxed out at the moment.
In between bands too so can't even justify it for a new project either

Karl is a top notch guy and hasa great feedback on BC so buy with absolute confidence and knowledge he only buys good playable gear.

GLWTS

Really kind, hope you're ok Dave.
Guess these are like Sandbergs version of Mex Fenders.

One of the 5 basses I gig regularly.
2 Mex, 2 Korean, 1 USA.

I nearly always use my Mex FSR P/J. A good number of folk have asked to buy that one.
My 72 Jazz, Rick & SEI never leave the house now.
Maybe if I do the Albert Hall :P

Doing good Karl. Now retired so life is good.
So you finally got yourself a Rik. Nice one.

You have had some amount of gear since we met.

I got the Mex P/J active earlier this year and i'm very impressed by it. I still love my Jazz tho and keep going back to it.

Hope you are both doing well tho.

All the best
Dave
