I'll ping a question or two back to you. What do[b] [i]you[/i] [/b]want it to sound like, or more precisely, [i][b]who [/b][/i]do you want to sound like? (If for instance you said, Geddy Lee, then we have a good start point.) Plus, what's your budget? Do you have the ability to lift heavy things or do you want something a bit more bijou? geofio Posted September 30, 2017 Share Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) I have used Rics for nearly 40 years now, tried most things i am now using the TC BH550 and Mesa 4x12 vintage cab, superb tone and tons of power reserve, it's all you need !!! if you used an old Marshall bass head , you would not be able to stay in the same room as the cabinet , would make you ill, crazy volume they are for stage only as they need to be driven to get the sound from them.
