FClef is a sister company with Fodera NYC and BottomWave basses. Superior quality basses. This one features a swamp ash body, maple neck, 21 frets, Fodera preamp, Aero pickups (not 100% sure about it) and a beautiful natural finish. It's light weight (around 4kg) and it's the closest recreation of the Marcus Miller sound that I ever heard. SOLD. No trades unless it's a MM Stingray 5 with maple neck or a MM Stingray 4 lined fretless. Apothem Posted August 9, 2017 Share Posted August 9, 2017 I have the same in black, and I vouch for every single word Miki said: tremendous quality basses, Mike Pope / Fodera preamp, good '70s Fender Jazz clones in passive (with a Master Tone pot as well) and very Marcus-like when active (especially with DR strings), hence a beautiful touch of hi-fi if needed. Very low action achievable. In order to have a good idea, listen to samples in the audio library in the Galleries at www.fclefbasses.com GLWTS, worth every penny.
