Gorgeous bass - is the 19mm string spacing adjustable (downwards?).

I'm afraid no. The bridge is Elrick's own model, made by Hipshot and close to Hipshot A-style. One of the small differences being saddlepieces that are not adjustable sideways. I think you could change the saddlepieces to Hipshot's adjustable ones if you wanted. But I'm not 100 % positive about this replaceability without checking.

I like this instrument a lot. It has the best ergonomics I have ever touched in any bass. Everything is in reach and balance. Sound is deep and punchy, yet defined. And the looks are stunning in real life. None of my other basses has ever got so many spontaneous wows as this. The only reason I'm (reluctantly) selling this is my 6-string Elrick that has become my main hifi bass. I seem to need the sixth string. And unfortunately I can't afford to keep two instruments of this caliber, so the other reason, as always, is money.

Do make me an offer I can't refuse, so I won't.
