Chris2112 Posted May 3, 2017 Share Posted May 3, 2017 The 'Extraction' band of Greg Howe, Dennis Chambers and Victor Wooten was fantastic. The album they put out was brilliant. A shame they only made one, and the name 'Extraction' was an in-joke as to how difficult it was to make (see also: cover art of someone having teeth pulled out). The band did carry on with one original member and Derek Forbes and Brian McGee, who had both recently left Simple Minds, for one more album (1234) but it lacked the first album's dark edginess and quickly disappeared (as did the band).
