Canon 135L f/2.0 prime lens
£650

Recommended Posts

NEW PRICE: £500

Ive had this for about 4 years. Hardly used it but love it to bits. Never had any issues with it and its working 100%

Its in great shape, no obvious marks or scratches other than normal wear and tear (so not much). Glass is scratch free.
Comes with lens caps/hood (does have marks on it) /box and everything else that came with it.

Looking to replace it with a 100 f/2.8 L macro so other than that or a Canon 50mm f/1.2 L i just need the cash.

Pics will follow in the next day or so when ive got time to take them. Can supply pics taken with the lens if needed.

Price includes postage to UK mainland.

That's a really odd focal length for a prime....I'm struggling to see how I'd use it....I have a 100-400 for tele stuff - a 10-18 for the wide stuff a 28-70 and a 18-135 for in between.....can't think when a fast(ish) 135 would be useful.

I must admit im the same as you. Its a lens that works really well on my full frame camera, but id never think of using it on a crop.

Its pen of the best portrait lenses out there. Although the focal length itself is covered by many other lenses (i favour my 18-135 on my crop cameras), they aren't f/2, and thats where the magic comes from .

Not quite a specialist lens, but not an everyday lens either IME.

I started this thread because i was looking to get a 100mm macro for my 5D4, but ive since got a Canon M50 for everyday stuff and so im now looking to fund a 18-150 for it. In the mean time im absolutely loving using my 18-135 USM Nano on it.

I've got one of these that i use on APS-C cameras. I blooming love it. I use mine for birds, providing they're reasonable tame and coming close. Also nice for countryside walks, isolating buds, leaves etc and making some nice abstracts using the wide aperture. Also pretty good for gigs too. It's the only L series I've got - picked it up from Crack Converters. Very nice - good luck with the sale!

Cheers. Yeah, its a bloody good lens, just one i don't use. On the odd occasion i do take it out on my 5D4 i get amazing results, but its an odd FL to use on its own, at least for me.

Think ill take it out on my M50 tomorrow, just to see how the two go together.
