Smooth hound wireless things

I bought one of their wireless transmitter things to be honest on a whim at the Lancashire guitar show. The salesman, nice guy (why wouldn't he be?) says he's sold to some of the guys of this very parish. All seems ok transaction wise . He didn't know what a Status bass , was worried. Tried to explain the output was high. Have I made a mistake or is it all good? Thoughts ....? It wasn't very dear but you know what I mean!
I intend to use it with a stingray. What do you think?

I've got one, works perfectly with my various Fenders and the low impedance pick up in my Jack Casady bass. I don't know what a Status bass is ether, unless you just mean an expensive version of a standard bass!

That's bloody neat, the one thing I dislike about my Smooth Hound is the standoff of the unit when plugged into a regular jack socket mounted on a scratchplate. I was using a lump of blu tack to stop it shaking about, but have now switched to a short lead and the transmitter on the strap.
