Always a genius. RIP Chuck. Treated very badly in the beginning and, sadly, spent the rest of his life trying to get even.

There will be a lot of Chuck Berry songs being added to set lists around the world over the next few weeks.

RIP.

Very sad news!

He's one of the very few musicians and songwriters who's songs we all will have played at one time or another in our own musical careers. As such, his reach and influence can't be overstated..

As Jack said, only Sir Paul and Ringo left now.

The first poet of rock'n'roll, the great R&B-to-pop crossover pioneer, inventor of the guitar riff, practically. What a legend.

I'd say Paul'n'Ringo are in another, later category... there's only Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard left now.

What's your favourite Chuck Berry line?

What can you say about Chuck Berry, except legend

Some people might add he was a pervert and one of the nastiest human beings on the planet. But, yes, musically the world would be a very different place but for his genius.
