Dream band for dinner!?

Recommended Posts

If you could invite your dream band or super group of your making to dinner who would you invite and why? Invite for the quality of chat, stories and maybe an after dinner jam session!

Mine would be:
Singer - Eddie Vedder
Bass - Geddy Lee
Drums - Dave Grohl
Guitar 1: Paul Gilbert
Guitar 2: Jack White

There's no way I'd be able to keep up, with the chat or with the music!

John Lennon. Guitar, vocals and caustic wit.
Rick Wakeman. Keys and story telling.
Chris Squire. Bass, and I could request a lesson, or 6.
Kieth Moon. Drums and mayhem.

I would just invite Coldplay.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to dispose of the bodies. Edited by Painy

That's why I invited him...also thought about Alex Lefeson but thought about it for a second and decided not to, as there would be no wine left for me.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr but partly because I'm vegetarian. So Joan Jett, the guitarist from Def Leppard and apparently Vanilla Ice would also be welcome.

Vocals - Dave Hunt
Guitar - Frank Turner
Guitar - Ihsahn
Bass - Steve Di Girogio
Drums - David Gray

I've gone more for people with interesting politcal or philisophical views than a group of musicians, hence why Frank Turner sticks out like a sore thumb amongst a group of black and death metal musicians.
