Selling these two beauties to fund more Barefaced goodness.
Both bought brand new, loved since and amazing performers.
These legendary cabs need little introduction but here's one anyway:

Midget T
Life changing. From lumbering great cabinets it was easy to be converted to using a little box which can be picked up like a laptop case and sounds phenomenal.
This has been my regular cab since I bought it and, being used alone it has risen to every occasion, taking in its stride festival and theatre stages to coffee houses and churches to recording studios. With a sound way deeper and punchier than it looks, I've never needed anything else and never been left short.
I did an A/B comparison to my previous Harke rig and this little treasure outperformed but is a fraction of the size.
Being the 'T' version the tweeter has been making my Stingray sparkle, when needed.
Fantastically useful, I have done around 200 gigs and countless rehearsals with this but have looked after like a baby and it is virtually as good as new. Sounds perfect, all connections etc and the tweeter control all working perfectly. Has the upgraded handle and feet (with a spot of glue on the screws, never had a problem)
£360 ono

Compact
Due to the usefulness of the Midget, I can count less than 10 gigs and one rehearsal for the Compact which remains in virtually mint condition.
A perfectly neutral sound - took me a while to get used to it, coming from the coloured sound of Hartke but would never go back. Dollops of deep Motown funk in this cab, and, if you need it, LOUD! Yes, it is good for metal!
£320 ono

Together, the stack can go effortlessly into 'stupid loud' with an impressive frequency spectrum. Walls, tooth fillings, syrups are all at risk.
£675 for both

I have loved having these cabs, but I'm consolidating both into one cab, a nice new Big Baby.

Both have Roqsolid covers (apart from a few minor surface marks are in good condition), two Speakon connections, the Midget T has the tweeter control in the port, all working perfectly.

Based in Romford/London, can deliver short distances, could go further for petrol cost if needed.

I'll miss these, they have been a big part of my life and I've been a proud owner.

Hi there. Maybe a daft question, but what is the height if you "stack" them, and what is the width of the top cab?? Also, the impedance of each cab - I'm not familiar with them, being all old fashioned and used to lugging around 10 ton cabs!
Cheers. Phil

Hi Phil, thanks for the interest, the Midget details are here:

and the Compact here:
http://barefacedbass...nge/compact.htm

I suppose you can add the heights to get the stack height (45") and the widths are noted
.
Each cab is conveniently 8Ohms and so you'll get 4Ohms using them both.
Here's a pic of the stack in rare use. (Was a large stage area and I thought the little Midget would look a bit daft on it's own!) While it's great to swing a tiny cab along, there's nothing like standing in front of a stack!

And here it is being picked up and blessed by the creator himself!

I hope this helps

I have exactly the same set up (and an extra Midget for, you know, because) and I can vouch that it's an amazing rig.

On the off chance anyone is hesitating on buying this because they would prefer a non-tweeter Midget, let me know because I have two. For a bit of variety I'd happily swap one of mine for the tweeter version. I'm just putting it out there in case it helps 4 String sell his rig.

Thanks Jack, always good to have that extra Midget!

To be honest, the tweeter is mostly wasted in mine as I play 90% with the treble on the bass turned right down, but at the end of the set there's a little jammie thing we do which involves some, yes I know, slap, up goes the treble and the tweeter makes it really sparkle.

Made space and generated cash for your BIG BABY!

Got home already, hope the journey was ok? Feeling very empty and vulnerable! Picking up the BB2 on Thursday. I hope I've done the right thing!
