discreet Posted September 29, 2017 Share Posted September 29, 2017 Sold Jim an OBBM lead. He paid up very quickly, and normally I'd just say what a great chap he is (true) and that would be that. However, I sent him the wrong cable, which then necessitated me sending him the right cable (obviously) and putting him to the trouble of returning the wrong cable. Jim, being very sensible, suggested we meet up in SE London (where I live) to exchange cables and avoid all that faffing about at the Post Office, to which I readily agreed. However due to circumstances beyond my control I had to cancel this arrangement less than an hour before the meeting. Therefore we had to go through with the postal exchange, Plan B. And it was all MY fault! Jim was very tolerant of this outrageous muppetry, returned the 'wrong' cable to me post-haste and is obviously one of those guys you can trust with your life even though you've never met them...
