Sweetwater have the white, the black and the Tobacco sunburst one.

That white one looks fairly tempting!

I assume with the current level of the £ vs $ they aren't going to be much off £600

Sadly I think you are right.
If so, I'm out, I'll just get a used one and some bits.

Official word from Epiphone.

On checking the dealer network my local outlet is Dawsons.
An enquiry to Dawsons returned this...
Unfortunately it doesn't look like we will be getting a shipment in of
those off Gibson however, we could order one in for you but delivery
could take several months.
I remember back when I was trying to get an Epi Elitist EB3 and a lot of dealers had never heard of them. I found the UK distibutor at the time were Rossetti and a call to them said they only got 4 and were getting no more. The dealers who they sent them to had sold them but I ended up managing to get one from Music 123 in the USA.

Does anyone know who is the Epiphone/Gibson UK distributor.
Does anyone know of any dealers hoping to get any in.
Also my experience of getting a shop to order one has usually been at full retail price.
I know it is early days yet.

That's a bit worrying...
Hopefully they will be a bit more common than the Elitists - I think they are replacing the current Thunderbird Pro, and they're everywhere ☺

Really looking forward to trying one out: the danger being that if I really liked the sound of those pups and the body was nicer than my current Epi body, I'd be buying one to hack the neck off and Fenderbird it... :D

Has anyone had any experience with pre ordering from Andertons. Do they take the money straight away or when they are ready to dispatch the item?

Edit...
'When will you charge my credit / debit card?
Andertons Music Co. takes full payment from your card at the time you place your order.'

Availability: Preorder
Next delivery due:
Sunday, 15 Oct 2017

OK, so Andertons is a £499 pre-order for the vintage T'Bird.... Just noticed them listed as pre-order on Gear4music @ £479, with a delivery estimate of 01/09.

Nah, I'm going to have to offload a couple of Fenders to make room for more T Birds. Just back from the Gibbo's second gig of the weekend.

Ordered. I'll be surprised (but very pleased!) if it does arrive in early September, let's see! If it does, I'll have bought three Thunderbirds in under four months!

There are probably support groups for that :D
