Rikki1984 Posted October 2, 2016 Share Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) I am reluctantly selling my KSD Jazz bass. It has an ash body and maple fingerboard. I'm only selling as I've moved on to 5 string basses. The controls are volume, blend, bass/treble concentric knob. The volume acts as a preamp bypass allowing you to play in passive mode. It's a really great bass and is set up with a low action. It nails the Marcus Miller slap tone, but thanks to the preamp it's very versatile. The only real negative is that the bass was once dropped on its back and has a lot of dents on the rear of the body - it's only cosmetic and nothing can be seen from the front - the neck is completely undamaged. I have attached photos of the worst of it. There also a crack in the lacquer around the neck pocket - again, completely superficial. There are a few light scratches on the front but they are so insignificant I couldnt get them to come out in a picture. The bass does have some grounding hum - probably easily sorted but I just haven't got round to it. The price is £300 plus £30 postage.
