Was about to recommend the same version. First saw her do it in the rock and roll exploitation film "The girl cant help it"
Actually a great film for quality cameos by several seldom-filmed acts.
Sadly Cliff Gallup is NOT in the Gene Vincent & the Bluecaps lineup though.

Alison Moyet's version is pretty great too, but it's also much 'busier' so the bassline is harder to pick out.

Oh ! You'll need to know how the keys/guitar are harmonising much of the song, such as the fantastic opening, if you are to avoid train crashes on bass plus to make the most of the opportunities. It can be sublime and beautiful, but all hangs on the exact harmonisation being played. 3 different versions seldom hang together !
