Hi folks,

As per title really.

Last Year: I bought a pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. I soon realised that my only real opportunity to wear them would be to form a modern country band.

Present Day: We are myself on guitar, Simon on vocals and George on drums. We have access to a free rehearsal space in Amersham. We are all over 40, some slightly further over than others. We share a love of modern country, which some would argue isn't country at all. However the songs are catchy and very immediate and can be really fun to play. We want to gig although we will ultimately aim for quality over quantity in that respect.

We don't necessarily try to replicate songs exactly but rather just capture the feel and energy of the song while playing to our individual strengths. There will be times to try and get pretty close to the track, and there will be times to get creative. We also want to have fun, both when we're playing and when we're not.

What we are looking for is a competent bass player who enjoys the material and is prepared to put in a bit of time and work and of course is reliable. Other than that we are pretty open to whoever comes along. We will know if you're the right person for the job just as you will know if this is the right band :)

Here are a few of the songs we plan on doing...

Get in touch by pm in the first instance and we'll take it from there.

Ta.

Paul.
