Updated board for the upcoming gigs! Can’t wait to get back out there. New Ashdown rig and this board should see me through for a few years. !!! 😂

Will whoever has kidnapped our @walshy and stolen his BC log in details, please release him asap, otherwise international gear prices are going to plummet...

still waiting for some cables, but here is my lockdown board. The Future compact and Proton will be on the HX’s fx loop.

Thanks, its a 3LeafAudio Proton. 🙂

We seem to have similar tastes 😀 - I've recently got the 2020 Proton, which I'm really liking, and a Helix (HX) and Becos (Stella) too. Although I suspect I'll never afford a Noble and have to make do and mend with a VT Bass DI!

Is that a PT Metro 24 you've got them loaded on and what are you using for power?

What's the reason painting out the graphics on the 3 leaf pedals? Custom job? 😁

To make it black of course!!!!

And I'd do the same. Look at that thing! The whole guard is sexy as hell. In a kinky latex kinda way 😏

Saw this on Instagram earlier. Love the “none more black” look!

Really need to try some of the 3leaf stuff...

yes its a Metro 24. Planning to use a Diago 3000Mah psu/Gigrig isolator+distributor plus some joyo isolators I got if needed.

I got this on order to power the Noble and Diago with one Kettle lead.

Just to make it match to the rest of the board really. Imagine it still being white and all. 😄

The Proton is just covered with sticker.

I really like it for what it can do. I use to run a VMT plus B3K combo, and I prefer the pork loin to the VMT. The B3K I can somehow emulate on the Helix so I didnt miss it. Plus I have the russian muff with blend from the P&P so that is a win.

What I am actually trying to see is if I can modify the Pork and Pickle to convert the toggle switch to an external footswitch so I can switch between the OD and Fuzz mid song. 🙂

what a beast!!!! Any sounds clips? 🙂

An extremely rough phone clip I accidently recorded - some silly textural guitar stuff I was messing about with trying to find sounds that work through an amp. The phone clip is actually useful cos you can hear the guitar acoustically too.

Needs pedals fixing, and a cable tidy but there it is.

R to L = in to out.

Joyo OJ - always on dirt and tone

TPM - loop 1 = California Drive set up filthy but blended with the clean signal.

TPM - loop 2 = Boss LS2 blended with clean signal.

Boss LS2 - B loop = Ricochet dry + octave down, or 5th up.

Boss LS2 - A loop = XVI octave up + clean + a smidgen of octave down

GEQ - as and if needed.

B1 Four - individual stomps Phaser, Flanger, Chorus Auto Wah, HPF (always on).

Midi controller - select FI patches

FI - all sorts from weird noises to filthy funk.

Powered by Harley Benton PowerPlant Powerbank.

Here's my current mess of cables.

The hand-labelled ones are a Schalltechnik Vong-Filterung on the right and a Pumpernickel Compressor on the left.

Thought I'd break out a bit of modulation at the top left for a bit of colour and after all, how sweet the sound of the flanged fuzz :)

Hi Paulo

An Envelope filter comprises of two sections. The envelope detector ( which receives your signal dynamics) ,and the filter section. The loop on the GR2 places any effects put in it inbetween these two sections,so that effects commonly used with filter (octave/fuzz) do not trigger the envelope detector thus causing the filter to open from your effect, rather than the dynamics of your playing.

Take a cable from the effects send to the input of the first  pedal then another cable from the last pedals output to the return.

If you want to use the effects in the loop without the filter, make sure the GR2 is set to buffered bypass via the internal trimpot. I use a very similar setup, a nice trick will be to put your Cali 76/T16 and whatever drive in the loop,as the comp will work as it should when playing normally, however it won't limit the dynamics when using the filter. It sounds huge with the T16 very synthy,My board is a bit further up this thread if you'd like a look and I have the bulk of my pedals in the wonderlove loop.

How are you using the Q strip (as an additional EQ/DI?) As your EBS has  really nice loop built in,which means you can put your fx into it and helps with signal purity. If you put it at the front of your chain, you'd be able to use it as a pre amp and an A/B switcher (although I realise the boss pedalboard has a built in fx loop for that purpose, and you won't be able to use the A/B facility)

I'd move the HOF to after the GR2 too 😁

Should Not Go Shopping, Should Not Go Shopping...

A bit of remodeling after the new purchase. New wooden triangles with a socket mounted under as the Ciocks, which you can't see, won't power the B3n.

The clock is fine as is, but the footswitch for the GK amp needs some support. The lid is a bit stiff to get on as well, but that's only for transport anyway.

Hi Lee' firstly thankyou for your reply most informative & very interesting as to how to utilise  &   get another performance out of these pedals.                   The Q Strip is additional E Q  & is a very accurate one also' I use the H P F & the  L P F  on the unit when I'm playing through my smaller combo's  a SWR Spellbinder Blue or'  a SWR Basic Black  to filter out those lower frequencies when using the Octave  especially'.                                             The  HOF I use infrequently mainly with a fretless  & the tone prints in the  Chorus... which work well together.                                                                           I shall experiment with your suggestions & maybe even reconfigure the board ' Thanks again for your input  most kind'

Paulo.
