To make it even more simple, you can use the Toneprint software to set a HPF on your Spectracomp but I don't know if it will worth the Thumpinator.

I've read about Toneprint, but never used it.  Could the pedal be re-configured so that the knob affects the cut-off frequency, and then have it apply compression only below that frequency?

I looked in to that prior to both purchases.  It seemed to not be possible from what the Basschat brain said (at the time - maybe it’s changed now?).

Besides, three boxes look cooler than two!

You have to have a prime number of pedals...

Stripped down on size again for the majority of gigs I do these days...

Some slight compromises on sound to have a smaller footprint. Pretty happy with it though...

Tuner, envelope filter, compressor, octaver, eq boost, dirt, chorus.

This has seen many incarnations over the years but I feel I’m getting close to a final form (haha, right!). The gap is just about big enough for my Morningstar MC8 controller to go. I might have to finally buy a pedalboard now.

For anyone interested the chain order is as follows:

Future Impact > C4> Mu-Tron > Enigma > Wombtone MKII > Sentry

The C4 has the LS-2 > Lunar in its loop.

The LS-2 has the Okto-Nøjs > MXR Vintage Bass Octave in loop A and the Mastotron in loop B.

I’ve created a C4 preset which allows me to have just the contents of its loop be active. It can be found here:

A future compact and mounting the hub underneath would free a bit of space.

Yes, I do need to get a board and it would make the cabling neater to free a bit of space. I might go with the compact FI at some point but am quite fond of the case as it is.
