A good all in one solution for me, all the pots and wiring, still active but without the faff of a preamp. I had ordered white ones, but a stock error at Selectron/EMG has led me to have black ones. The more I thought about it, I think I'm happier with black as the White pickups/black hardware and trying to match the white paint to the pickups would've been too much for my OCD. Im going to fill the pickup holes. And fit an EMG or similar MM pickup in there. The reason behind this is that I’ve drunkenly won a pristine B-Bass in natural on eBay...
