This isn't something I was planning to do but, as you will have seen on my other Dingwall thread, I need to clear some debts, including a hefty car service recently.

It is a white combustion with maple neck and black pick guard, but has also been upgraded to all-black hardware including premium US Hipshot tuning keys NOT licensed. You will also get upgraded Dunlop Strap Lock Buttons too! The jack plate dish is also black. (Or I can change to Schaller locking buttons if you'd like)

HIGH RES PICTURES LINKED BELOW

I will add a hard case too.

Combustion Series II Specifications:
•New Dingwall made in Canada FD3n Neodymium pickups
•EMG USA BT07 3-band pre-amp
•Dingwall USA strings
•Alder body - White
•Maple Fingerboard with rolled edges - 37 - 34" scale - £45 option
•Bone nut
•Banjo frets
•NOVAX® FANNED-FRET SYSTEM™ (see below)

£1000 + Shipping (comes with a hard case and sent in a shipping box for safety)

Bugger! I used to play 5's all the time but have reverted back to 4's for the last 12 years or so....I'll wait for pics then to be properly tempted. :-)

It's in amazing condition, as new save for the brand new hardware that has been added. The pickups and electronics have not been touched or upgraded, I should add. They are amazing already!

Ok, I'll do pictures in just a sec!

Sorry to be the one to ask but what does it weigh please? Also what's the overall length? They look huge (and I'm small!) but I can't find any pics showing side by side comparison with a regular bass like a J or P. Thanks

Well, the scale here suggest an admirable 4.1Kg, which is ace. Remember there is no neck dive on these basses which means the discomfort on the shoulder of a normal bass (such as a five string Fender) is alleviated making the whole instrument feel much lighter too.

Side by side to a Fender P, the nut of the P is inline with the first fret of the Combustion! - Meaning you only have an extra inch or so further to touch the nut of the Combustion. This is because the bridge is angled backward meaning the longer scale B string's low notes can be closer to you.

What's the string spacing at the bridge please? Is string spacing adjustable at all? Please forgive my ignorance if it seems obvious😊

I'm guessing it's fixed.
