I've had some local guitar shops do them for me and thought they were alright until I tried a few basses at the Gallery. Number6 Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Why don't you have a go yourself? Once you get the hang of things it's a fairly easy task. There are loads of instructional vids on YouTube. Practice doing it with the old strings forst before you put new ones on. The only time i go to a tech is teally for stuck or very tight truss rods. [/quote] That's fair enough.....i have set up many instruments but would get a bit of a sweat on over such an expensive bass. Nevertheless i'm sure there are manufacturers instructions in existence on t'interweb thingy and in all honesty those specs are what a tech would likely use.
