[/quote] Ian, as soon as you turn them on, the Volume Police get their blue lights on Seriously though, in the last picture, post #1, you can see the pre amp valves glowing blue. It's not actually the pre amp valves, it's some blue LED's. It's for show, gimmicky. Quite a few Streamliner owners have had these lights stop working, or they work intermittently. Old (or Dark ?) horse on Talkbass knows all the ins/outs as he was one of GB engineers. I've had STR 600 AND 900 and I've not had it happen to me. A friend of mine called David Brosnan (from Leeds) has just replaced all 3 LED's at a cost of under £20. Problem solved. Some owners prefer them without the LED's anyway. I had a chap from Huddersfield want to trade his 600 for my 900. His blue lights promptly failed and I've not heard from him since Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mainly because I always like 2 main tones, John Paul Jones circa Zepp 11, and Steve Harris, well, most albums really. I should have stated a trade that was relatively local meet up, as I am offering an initially more expensive item. Put another way, It's very cheap and I don't want it to actually cost me more. Blue Lights. Info/quote courtesy of Muzz, cheers fella Hey Karl, Thought I'd give you the heads-up on the LEDS on that Streamliner - I got a set from AgedHorse and had them professionally fitted. Apparently the original build batch of LEDs turned out to be unreliable, hence why AgedHorse will supply them to anyone who asks. Plus he's just an all-round Good Guy.
