SOLD: 60's Baldwin (Burns) 704 hollow body bass £650

Stunning vintage Baldwin (Burns) hollow body bass, which is a great looker and a fantastic player. Matching colour double bass style headstock. In remarkable condition for an instrument that is approaching its 50th birthday. All original parts and OHSC.

The Baldwin 704 bass was made between in the late 60's by Burns. The 704 had an Italian made ES-335 style body, with the new style Baldwin neck made in the USA. The double trapeze tailpiece has a Baldwin "B" on it. Pickups are 2 double polepiece units. The basses were assembled in the UK.

A couple of small dings as seen in pics. Previous owner had fixed a decorative cross to the neck as seen in pics (which I personally like) but this could be removed according to taste. Would be willing to ship at buyers expense.

BUMP! I'm knocking a huge 130 quid off this weekend only for my basschat brothers and sisters.

So that's 520 quid for this 60's hollow body beauty. What say you?
