This active bass has twin soapbar pickups, plays well and several others have remarked on the quality of the tones available. The East J Retro Deluxe also enables great passive tones, rich deep bass notes and high end clarity. The original East box and the original Washburn electronics are still available so it could be converted back and the Retro used elsewhere or sold on. This is a great looking bass in very good condition. What looks like marks on the body in the photographs are reflections.
