This bass was designed to offer the widest tonal palette possible on a 5 string. It's equally at home in a lot of musical genres and this is no exception. It's #77. michele Posted March 24, 2016 Author Share Posted March 24, 2016 A quick look around the net made me realize a few things. Fodera actually has a used Standard Monarch 4 at $4850. New Emperor 5 Standards here in Europe go in the € 6500 region. I played this bass last evening and, boy ... do this sound sooo good. It's also very clean. I'm actually in the process of re-thinking my whole instruments needs. I am still willing to sell but I'm not going to undersell an instrument of this caliber. So, new updated, increased price bump.
