Can someone make me a Cornish LD-1 buffer clone

So what you are saying is that true bypass is not the holy grail many think it is?

If so any simple buffer would do. At far less than£200.

I don't think it has a balanced output like a real di would have ?
But if building it diy it could be incorporated without too much bother.

You beat me to it Charlie, stared writing this last night but fell asleep.

There is a clone of the Cornish. Known as the Fairy Dust, there are Veroboard/stripboard layouts for this as well as a PCB kit (excluding enclosure) available from MKelec.com.

Cost inc shopping would be about £15 from the USA.
